Ahoy there Gondoleers ! Those out for a romantic boat ride on the wonderful canals of Venice got a special treat this past weekend and had a chance to serenade along with the Swingin’ Dick beat ! While Swingin’ Dick and the crew were AOG in Italy due to a mechanical malfunction with their aircraft, they got to swing in San Marco Square in Venice. For two rip-roaring nights Venice got to experience Swingin’ Dick and the orchestra with their unique and driving sound with the festivities going long into the night. Partial flooding of the square didn’t detract from the revelers under a full moon and the huge bash in Venezia !

We’d like to thank the denizens of Venice and especially the ladies for a warm welcome; Venice was one of our favorite places to play during the European Extravaganza and you can bet Dick will be back. For now, the Swingin’ Dick express is fixed–Dick and the crew took off last Tuesday across the North Atlantic for a well deserved break before their engagement in Rapid City, South Dakota. So watch out ladies of Rapid City — Swingin’ Dick is coming YOUR way !
